Cecelia’s Cafe - Personal Project
I recently visited Edinburgh and came across lots of independent cafes. For me, the most inviting of them all were those that had bright yellow shop fronts, evoking a friendly and wholesome feel. What inspired me most was how reminiscent these cafes were of my childhood, as they had a strong 2000s vibe. When I got back home I set out to design my own little yellow cafe and Cecelia’s is what I came up with.
To complement the brand's friendly and approachable vibe, I chose a handwritten logo style paired with a sun icon. The personal touch of the handwritten font adds warmth and authenticity, while the sun symbolises positivity.
